形態特徵

Large semideciduous trees; branchlets terete, slightly pubescent.
Petioles 1.5–5.5 cm long, glabrous; leaflets subcoriaceous, 5–7(–9), elliptic or obliquely ovate or lanceolate, 3–6 cm long, 1–2.5 cm wide, entire, acute or acuminate with an obtuse tip at apex, cuneate or acute at base, glabrous above, pubescent along lower part of midrib beneath or rarely glabrous, lateral veins 7–9 pairs.
Inflorescence longer than or as long as leaves, densely flowered, pubescent or very rarely glabrous, bracts elliptic-obovate, sometimes compound. Flowers white; calyx cupulate, ca. 1 mm long, glabrous or slightly pubescent; corolla tube obsolete, 4-lobed, lobes divided to base and united in pairs; anthers oblong.
Fruit a samara, obovate-oblong, 2–3 cm long, obtuse or retuse at apex

分布

台灣 : at low and medium altitudes throughout the island.
世界 : India, Java, Indonesia, the Philippines, mainland China, the Ryukyus.
